United World Trade Centre (UWTC) is said to be the largest shopping complex at Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal. The complex is spread over 5,596.11 square meters area and built in a leased-land owned by Tribhuvan University with the total investment of Rs 500 million rupees. The complex provides a number of services like department stores, Silver jewelry shop ,cyber café, party palace, health club, and heated swimming pool. Last week, I could visit the building and had snacks at roof top restaurant of it. The picture is from the same roof showing Tripureshowr round about. National stadium, Dasharat rangashala, is just behild the two big hoarding boards in the picture.

This letter is for Mr. Sherchan,I would first of all like to appreciate the promotion campaign and the attractive decoration done by the uwtc. Hope there is more other attractions for Dasain and Tihar. I would further like to bring to your notice that the West Wing side of the building is the most neglected part, there were no decorations and the accellators are in no working conditions,accellators should be used for bringing people up, for going down there are stairs and lifts, so I would like to suggest that the accellators on the West Wing side should be well maintained and used for bringing the customers up, so I request you not to change it upside down. We appreciate your effort for making the building more attractive but please see to it that the West Wing side of the building as well as the west wing entrance is not neglected.I would further like to know what idea you have for the 3rd floor west side of the building, it would be better if a food court, a branded showroom or a nice game zone where families can enjoy comes up. Malls as far as I know should be more family oriented, though I have showrooms at uwtc but on weekends I prefer taking my family to other malls where they can enjoy movies or play games, so we have high expections from the UWTC company that they will come up with new ideas and impliment it as soon as possible, uwtc will be facing more competitions now with all the new malls coming up so we have high hopes from you. Best of luck for all the new ventures. Hope you will work towards making the building more attractive and attract more customers.

I enjoy shopping at uwtc. You need to advertise more to reach more people. Why don't you have a movie hall. I am a local resident of Tripureswor and have to go to other malls for movies and other entertainments.

i wished that there was not so much traffic jam around the UWTC. so difficult most of the times even to go inside the parking.
Im so happy that finally even Nepal has review pages. Im probably the first one to write. This is an amazingly westernized and modern shopping center with wide varieties of clothes. There is also a bowling alley and some party halls inside the building. I was there 3 years ago. I am in LA now so a lot may have changed.
