Was pleasantly surprised at the tranquility of the place. Wouldn't have thought so from the location but it's pretty spectacular inside. Was most impressed by the A-list celebrities that have been to the place - Hillary, Prince Charles, Jimmy Carter etc.

Architecturally, it's all restored Newar which to me feels "old" and not exciting but it's done well here. The pool area is very impressive and so are the three restaurants. It's a bit pricey at the Krishnarpan restaurant at $50 per person but then again you are getting a 22 course meal (but who eats a 22 course meal??). Definitely worth a visit if not a stay.
