Wow! I never thought it was the best food in the valley, but I didn't have an experience that was SO bad.
The best thing about Jalan Jalan, I think, is the setting. Being outside on the patio when the shades are still up while it's light out. You can see for aways and that's nice.
I think they also had a fairly good dessert. Some sort of chocolate thing with "raj" in the name?
The drinks, on the other hand, were always fairly mediocre. The bartender just wasn't using the highest quality ingredients.
Where do I start. The green curry chicken was undercooked. The malaysian potatoes was just fries. The wifi was unusable. The Pangan chicken had hardly any chicken. We left early and without finishing our meal.
Maybe we just got there on a bad day but was not impressed at all. Plus it's not a Malaysian restaurant like we thought - it's a mix of continental, indian, vietnamese and one or two malaysian dishes. Don't waste your time here.
